01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease with olive oil.
02 - Place halibut fillets in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
03 - In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
04 - Spoon the garlic butter sauce evenly over each halibut fillet.
05 - Bake for 15–20 minutes until fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Internal temperature should reach 135–140°F.
06 - Garnish with lemon wedges and extra parsley if desired. Serve immediately while hot.
